Yes. Choose a username at signup or later in Settings → Account. Usernames use lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores (3–50 characters). After you claim one, you can change it once every 30 days.

Open Settings → Account. If email change is available for your login method, we will ask you to verify the new address. Google sign-in emails are managed with Google.

No, you can browse public Softbooks and Search without an account, on your phone or computer. Enrolling, messaging, LAMLA, teaching, and wallet need a free account.

A Softbook is a learning post in your feed — text, image, video, or quiz. A course is a structured set of lessons. Softbooks can attach a course so people can enroll from the post.

Yes. Tutors choose free or paid. Open the course page to see the price in Ghana Cedis before you enroll.

Requests are reviewed case by case. You may qualify within 7 days if you used less than 20% of the content, if the course does not match its description, or if a platform fault blocks access. Email hello@one2one.cc. Full rules are in the Payment & Refund Policy.

While the course remains on One2One, enrolled learners keep access to what they paid for. If a tutor unpublishes or we remove a course for policy reasons, we will handle remaining access fairly.

LAMLA is One2One’s AI study assistant. It can use your courses and learning goals as context. It can make mistakes — confirm important answers with your tutor or official materials.

Our team reviews every tutor before they can publish. We look at academic results (such as WASSCE or university programme), subject expertise, NSMQ experience for science and maths, teaching ability (a sample lesson, past tutoring, or a short call), and real identity and references. Tutors must follow our Community Guidelines, and we remove anyone who breaks them. Live Zoom cohort tutors are hand-picked to a higher bar. See Help → Teaching → How we choose tutors.

Creating an account, Softbooks, LAMLA and free courses cost nothing. Paid courses show their price in Ghana Cedis on the course page before you enroll. Live Zoom cohorts are GHS 300 per cohort (8 weeks of live classes).

Paid courses are priced in GHS. Checkout uses your One2One Wallet first, which you can top up with Mobile Money. Free courses enroll instantly.

Verified tutors set a MoMo payout number in Payment & Billing. Earnings from paid enrollments (minus platform fees) appear as pending, then are disbursed on the current payout schedule.

Yes, for new enrollments. You pay the price shown when your enrollment succeeds.

Settings lets you allow messages from everyone, followers only, or nobody. For learners under 18, only people they follow back can start a private chat, whatever this setting says.

Use the menu on their profile or in the chat. Blocked people should not be able to message you. You can also report content that breaks the Community Guidelines.

Short notes to people you mutually follow. They hide your name and expire after 24 hours. Harassment is still against the rules.

You can delete a conversation from Messages (menu on the chat). Individual message deletion may not be available.

Prefer MP4 (H.264). Keep files reasonably sized. A stable connection helps both upload and playback. Processing can take a few minutes after you publish a lesson.
