Community Guidelines
Effective date: August 18, 2026
One2One is a learning community. These guidelines keep Softbooks, courses, messages, and LAMLA respectful, safe, and useful for students and tutors.
1. Be respectful
Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, slurs, and targeted harassment are not allowed.
2. No harassment, hate, or bullying
Do not threaten, intimidate, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop. Do not promote hatred or violence against anyone based on identity or background.
3. No spam, scams, or deception
Do not post repetitive ads, pyramid schemes, phishing links, or false claims about courses, results, or credentials.
4. Be honest
Post only content you created or have permission to use. Do not impersonate tutors, schools, or other users. Be truthful about qualifications when you teach.
5. Protect privacy
Do not share someone else's phone number, address, school records, or private media without consent.
6. Keep it appropriate for learning
Sexually explicit material, gratuitous violence, and content meant only to shock or offend is not permitted.
7. Academic integrity
Do not post leaked exam papers, answer keys sold as cheating aids, or instructions to defraud an exam board. Studying together is encouraged; cheating is not.
8. Courses and tutors
Tutors should publish accurate descriptions, structured lessons, and good-faith support. Misleading, plagiarized, or abandoned paid courses may be removed.
9. Reporting
Use in-app reporting when you see a violation. We may remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts.
10. Appeals
If we take action on your account or content, email support@one2one.cc with the relevant details. We review appeals in good faith.
