These terms explain the rules for using One2One: our website at one2one.cc (including the mobile web version you get on a phone) and related features.
By creating an account or using One2One, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use One2One.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use One2One. One2One is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review these terms and agree to your use. When you create an account we ask your age group; if you are 13–17 you must confirm that your parent or guardian knows you are joining and agrees. Learners under 18 get extra safety protections described in Section 14 of our Privacy Policy. Keep your registration details accurate and up to date.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for your login details and for activity on your account. Tell us quickly at hello@one2one.cc if you think someone else has access. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or create a security, legal, or payment risk.
Usernames are chosen by you (letters, numbers, underscores). You can change a claimed username once every 30 days in Settings.
You may browse some public Softbooks and Search content without signing in. Enrollments, messaging, teaching, wallet, and LAMLA always require an account.
You may delete your account at any time without contacting us: sign in, then go to Settings → Account → Delete account (https://www.one2one.cc/settings). Deletion is permanent. See our Privacy Policy for what we retain when the law requires it.
3. One2One
One2One is a social learning platform for students and tutors in Ghana and beyond. It may include:
• Softbooks — educational posts, quizzes, images, and videos in a social feed
• Courses — structured lessons, section quizzes, and progress tracking
• Messaging, follows, notifications, library, and portfolios
• LAMLA — an AI study assistant that can use course and curriculum context
• One2One Wallet and Mobile Money payments in Ghana Cedis (GHS)
• Live Zoom cohorts — paid, tutor-led online classes arranged with our team
Features may change as we improve the product. We do not guarantee any particular educational outcome.
4. Your Content and License
You keep ownership of content you create, upload, or publish — including Softbooks, comments, course materials, messages, and profile information.
When you post content, you give One2One permission to host, store, show, share, and adapt it as needed to run, promote, and improve the platform. That permission ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where we must keep copies for law, disputes, security, or routine backups.
You confirm you have the rights to post your content and that it does not break the law or someone else’s rights, including under the laws of Ghana.
5. Tutors and Course Creators
If you publish courses or charge for content, you are an independent provider, not an employee or agent of One2One. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and delivery of your courses, including rights to videos and materials.
Course listings must be truthful. Pricing, refunds, platform fees, and payouts are described in our Payment & Refund Policy. We may remove or restrict courses that violate our Content Policy or Community Guidelines.
6. LAMLA
LAMLA is an AI assistant intended to support studying. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. LAMLA is not a substitute for a qualified teacher, official curriculum, or exam board guidance. You remain responsible for how you use its answers. Do not submit sensitive personal data about others into LAMLA chats.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Violate any applicable law, including the laws of Ghana
• Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others
• Post spam, scams, malware, or misleading claims about courses or credentials
• Share leaked exam papers, cheating services, or other academic-integrity violations
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• Attempt unauthorized access, scraping, or interference with the platform
• Circumvent security, rate limits, enrollment gates, or payment systems
• Impersonate any person, school, or entity

8. Payments and Wallet
Paid enrollments and wallet top-ups are processed through approved partners, including Moolre for Mobile Money in GHS. One2One is not a bank, e-money issuer, or deposit-taking institution. Wallet balance is a prepaid credit for use on One2One, not a deposit account.

9. Intellectual Property
One2One, including software, design, branding, and documentation (excluding your content), is owned by One2One or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer One2One except as permitted by law. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright Policy.
One2One is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) or its organisers. The NSMQ name and related marks belong to their owners. We mention the NSMQ only to describe the competition our practice questions and tutors help students prepare for.
10. Third-Party Services
One2One uses third-party providers (for example, Supabase for authentication and data, Google for optional sign-in, Moolre for payments, and video infrastructure for lesson playback). Their terms may apply. One2One is not responsible for third-party sites linked from the platform.
11. Disclaimers
One2One is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not make warranties about fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free service.
Course, Softbook, and tutor content is created by users. We do not guarantee accuracy, exam results, or continuous availability.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, One2One and its team are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or revenue, arising from your use of the platform.
If we are liable for a claim, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid One2One in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 100), except where the law does not allow that limit.
13. Indemnification
You agree to protect One2One from claims and costs that arise from your content, your courses, your use of the platform, or your breach of these terms, including reasonable legal fees.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close access if these terms are broken, if the law requires it, or to protect users and the platform. You may stop using One2One at any time and delete your account in Settings. Rules that need to continue after your account ends — such as ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law — still apply.
15. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Important changes will be posted in the app or website, or sent by email when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
16. Mobile Apps
One2One is currently offered through our website, including its mobile web version, which you can add to your phone's home screen. Native Android and iOS apps are not publicly available yet. If we release them through Google Play or the Apple App Store, we will update these terms before they launch.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Please try to resolve issues with us in good faith before formal legal action. Courts in Accra, Ghana have primary jurisdiction, unless consumer protection law where you live says otherwise.
