Apply to teach, publish courses, and get paid in GHS
How we choose tutors
Every tutor on One2One is reviewed by our team before they can publish a course. We look at: • Academic performance: Strong results, such as WASSCE grades or the university programme they study. • Subject expertise: Real depth in the subjects they want to teach. • NSMQ experience: For science and maths, experience as an NSMQ contestant, coach, or quiz mentor. • Teaching ability: A sample lesson, past tutoring, or a short call with our team. • Identity and credibility: A real name, references, and an honest public presence. • Conduct: Tutors agree to our Community Guidelines, and we remove anyone who breaks them. How it works: 1. Apply in the app with your subjects, qualifications, and an optional sample lesson. 2. Our team reviews your application and may ask for a sample lesson or a short call. 3. Approved tutors get a gold badge and can publish courses. 4. We keep checking: learners can report problems, and we remove tutors or content that break our rules. Live Zoom cohort tutors are hand-picked by the One2One team and held to a higher bar, with strong NSMQ and teaching track records. Approved tutors publish their own courses. If a course doesn't match its description, report it or ask for a refund under our Payment & Refund Policy.
Become a verified tutor
Everyone starts as a student. 1. Sign in and finish your profile 2. Open compose → Apply to teach, or Settings → Account 3. Share your subjects, qualifications, and (optionally) a sample lesson link 4. Wait for One2One to review it — we may ask for a sample lesson or a short call Approved tutors get a gold badge and can publish courses. You are an independent teacher, not a One2One employee. Follow the Community Guidelines and Content Policy.
Create a course
On web, use Post → Create course (or the course wizard). On mobile, use the create flow and choose a course. Add a clear title, subject, description, and thumbnail. Build sections with lessons (video or other materials) and optional section quizzes. You can keep work in draft, stage sections, then publish when a section is ready. Learners are notified when a new section goes live.
What good courses look like
• Title and syllabus match what is inside • Lessons are focused; audio is clear • At least one preview lesson so people can sample • Quizzes after important sections • Honest pricing in GHS — free is fine if you are building an audience • Reply to learner questions on the course
Pricing and paid sections
Set the course as free or paid. Paid checkout uses the learner’s wallet first, then Mobile Money. You can change the listed price later. Anyone who already enrolled keeps the price they paid for that enrollment. Additional paid sections should be described clearly before you charge an upgrade.
See who enrolled
Settings → My courses lists your courses and enrollment counts. Open a course to see learners and to edit content. Use course discussions and Softbooks to reach your class.
Earnings and payouts
Activate your wallet and add a MoMo payout number in Settings → Payment & Billing. Paid enrollments credit your tutor balance after platform fees. Pending versus paid amounts appear in Payment & Billing. Disbursements go to the MoMo number on file according to the current payout schedule. Questions: hello@one2one.cc
